THE WALK

traversed a long way
with those petals
carried which essence of life
through dark ways,
unknown bends
Tis a thought
or the expression of my mind'
clueless,
in aloneness
I quietly ponder
of the walkway
touched , untouched by miles of distance
I await the Milky Way
to bring the change....

@Soumya

the sojourn

and neither the travelers of this journey
nor the companions of births can comprehend
palette of colours I am emblazoned with
the saffron of divine
or the luminescent white of tranquility
when the earth is wrapped in muck
so is vision of masses
forgotten is conscience
buried is compassion
through autumn , or fall
through winter or storms
sailed the fluttering sail
exhausted and torn
wiped and worn...
may this sojourn end
to the destined destination...
tired of flapping wings
the avian wishes for its
adieu ..

Light of Wisdom

O! Thee, my ignorant mind seeks the light
there’s darkness everywhere,
knowledge flourishes,
learned is man,
who is the learner, dies the inquisitiveness…
Speaks every mouth,
who doth listen,
forgets the vision, to observe
ears deafen …
O! Thee,
searches my ignorant mind
for the lustrous flower
whose fragrance shall wipe away
worries and ego of power…
Amidst the clouded thoughts and views
of the intellectuals,
I, stand alone
look for that light of wisdom
illumines and kindles
the lost conscience of every soul and enliven.

Music of the “Mighty King”

listen to the music melodious
the fluttering of leaves in shade of summer
the river gushing through rocky terrains
the chirping of birds on dawn
rains droplets falling in rhythm…

blissful tune of the nightingales
stormy winds and lashing waves
the cool serene touch of grass
flying above the cottonballs
standing mountains sheltering, the land afar…

Harps the wind on the twigs and trees
the melody of a song pristine…
enchanting as the flute of the lord
the harmonic composition
of the MIGHTY KING!

THE LOST EMPEROR

There   was once a  mighty ruler ,

known for his courage and valour

Powerful and Rich ,

Tall and Magnificient,

People trembled with fear,

whenever they saw him appear,

Whatever he wished ,he snatched by force,

Innumerable wars he won,

yet he was thirsty for dominion .

Jewels and gems,

Golds and diamonds…

Women and wine flowed like rivers,

Still nothing  appeased his apathetic self…..

 Something still wasn’t possessed,

by his  reign and through his fame,

He ruled on thousands

in every region of Indian plain

Directions too seemed to know,

that he was ruler and they bowed,

Then what was that, his heart missed?

Contentment or the Mental peace?

One day he saw a young monk, walking naked feet on the hot ground,

Surprised and shocked to see,the Emperor summoned for  him,

The silent monk appeared in the court,

Courteous and Silent like a revered soul,

He smiled and wished the king “happiness”,

And asked the reason for his presence..

The lost Emperor asked “What makes  you smile

..even when you have nothing in your life?

To which the pious soul replied,” I have the Richest jewel inside

That sparkles when I think of THEE,

Priceless and  precious ,when I  care about the children of “HIM”

The contentment that I have in heart,

Is because Iam loved by all,

I wish to serve the mankind ..

To get happiness in my bodily  shrine..

The mighty Emperor had tears in his eyes,

He thought he was lost for a while,

The moment changed his lavish life,

“The Lost Emperor” got a reason to smile,

He started serving his subjects,

treating as his own children,

Spreading the light of  happiness ,

He preached love and peace amongst the humans.

How I wished I could be him,

writing golden pages in history

with the eternal word of love and compassion

which shone through his destiny…

How I wish hath I been the one

The mighty Chakravarti Emperor

Ashoka, thy name would hath been mine…

and my soul could hath stopped the

bloodshed and aftermath

of the  gruesome war of Kalinga

which killed and slained millions

when the river Mahanadi  flooded with blood and tears

floating bodies ,amputated fears,

gory and wrath would ne’vr hath been

Had I embodied as Ashoka the mighty being!

Wars can never bring peace and will always bring more bloodshed. The world starves for peace and every nation today is devoid of the universal peace and harmony which should be the main motto of every nation and country.

INTOXICATION!

In thy closed lips I found a mute language of unspoken tale,
mystical like a woven filigree embedded inside the heart's frame...
the threads of intrinsic silken threads now weave us together
beyond the cycle of time ,we exist as wanderers.

what sees the eye, what catches the vision,
rarest of rare escape the provision,
the pristine wavelength of the divine bestowed on us
 through matters of time...

like a sip of wine intoxicating
the dip of amor soaks with inebriation
but the richest in all divine love
uplifts the souls in uttermost devotion...

” LIGHT OF DIWALI “

Dear all,

WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY DIWALI AND MAY THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS BRING JOY,PROSPERITY,PEACE AND HAPPINESS TO ALL OF YOU!

O! light of Diwali!

ablaze you glow

with your energy

to infuse in the soul…

give me thy energy

to walk on the path

of obstacles, unseen corners

where cliff is hanging off…

In darkness of the mind,

you shine like the golden one

erasing the fears

sparkling the atmosphere!

Illuminate ! hearts! O! blessed one!

without your luminescence

we are mere losers!

FAITH !

DSCF3611

What lies forth !

round the bend,where I can’t see!

A blind corner ,

a cliff dangerous,

a valley of flowers

or a dangerous rift!

Is the river flooded,

Can I cross it without oars,

will there be a boat for me

or shall the shore reach beneath my feet in seconds!!!

Is there a palace awaiting my presence

Is there a hut to shelter me in storm,

Will I ever get a tree

when I walk in the scorching sun for long!

Is this my path ,where I tread,

on which I step upon,

or was it around the last corner,

which I left across?

Restless mind, flickering flame

fickle thoughts shall ruin in vain,

brighten the dimmed light of hope

in my  heart !

O! My lord ! with your grace,

Till I walk on the road of destiny

with belief in mind and heart full of faith.
