Co -Travellers

Thousand times we ponder to think
Isn't the journey a new voyage to begin
wondering whether we can reach the end
the destined goal , a peak to rest
While climbing often we fail and fall
rolling down to initial start
crest and troughs are part of life
like tides that rise or collapse in no time
with every waxing & waning of moon
or daylight
friends, comrades cometh many
pausing a bit, sharing good testimonies
walketh few for some steps
some wandered along for selfishness
co traveller of times
co traveller of space
co traveller in universe
beyond the lines of action and emptiness
energies of virtue, energies of patience
power of thoughts, force of faith to be reckoned
when merge in sync
thus become we
co travellers of a destination
until the purpose is accomplished...

Transition

Magical are those moments when we get overwhelmed by certain emotions, ones which are inexplicable. Certainly the ones which render  our innermost thoughts on canvas of life in varied colours and forms.

Impermanence is the law of life and change is inevitable.

Sometimes this transition is just  another change  else it brings lot of mixed emotions stocked inside a jar which get released together. Like a burning incense where the fragrance gets diffused along with delicate  fumes in all directions ,so are invisible emotions randomly scattering, within the atoms of the zephyr trying to find out their destination.

They travel collide, run, hide and seek the nucleus of this anxiety,or ecstatic movement. There is no kind of attachment or detachment defined  while in this condition. One feels free ,like a free bird flying above the seven seas and the next minute one tends to feel like chained by societal norms and relations. The strings of duties entangle the perching feathers of  the bird, pinion it to one pole ,while its claw tries to disentangle the sordid caged condition. It gazes at the vast expanse ,yearns to be embraced by the blueness and drops a tear often to be wiped by its own feathers. During the night , the vanishing stars carry its silent soul to another abode which seems real ,yet far from  the reach of its own flight.

When bloomed the palash flowers

Brightening the blue skies of my world

They set the emotions on fire letting those  buds

nipped off the branch and smearing the nostalgic ethereal dust

in plentiful measures

Scarlet or saffron ,the deep tinge evoked endless sensations

Which reverberate with the atoms of universe

in a seeking of finding its own abode

Whether at feet of the creator

Or lying unnoticed on ground till shrivels the petal with arrival of different season.

I know not the change
nights long or the sweating day's pain
Is it the moon’s peeping game
or the wildflower’s fragrance putting
Samsara to shame?
the flow of time and course
alters abruptly and ceaselessly moves
sometime letting the scarlet dusk
embrace me or often
 leaving the stars in jealousy
while the dewy drops sparkle
I await
momentous fancies dreaming of being real
on the sandy shores
when our intertwining fingers and seashells will play.

The Unsung Lore

the unsung lyrics of thou and me

reside in the involute spirals of life

sometimes being blown by winds of time

often displayed as colours of a tiny butterfly

Oh ! that tiny shell knew the lore

heard it while lying offshore

tis a fable of thou and me

sung by nature silently

beyond the perishable limits of life

crossing the impermanence line

yeah! it dwells like fragrance in flowers

as luminous radiance of moon for hours

in the dancing waves of the pragmatic ocean

in the notes of reed made with blades of scattered plants

growing far in forests or like the sanddunes of a desert…

Hear the melody

we blend as music and words

in moments of ecstasy.

The humming river

img_20160617_064125-001

Let us flow like the perennial river

gushing past the rocks

through the valleys

and down the hills to

our heaven.

let us hear the song of chirping birds

play with butterflies

bloom with the orchids

and roll on meadows laughing

and cuddling over.

let us climb to the sky

catch the stars twinkling

and draw doodles

of love on heaven

will you come over

or beckon me there

to flow together

like the humming river?

The ink and the quill

While my heart throbs in the
Misty mornings of winter
Thy soul snuggles for some warmth in my words
I paint the sky saffron embracing thou
 presence

Years ago
beside you under the mulberry tree
you had asked
while scribbling
my name on  dust of a storm
will thy  be mine
I had nodded
carving thou  inside deep notches

Births later
We sit and dream
Away from one another by  seven  seas
will there be a common sky
a single roof where
you would be the ink and  I, the quill .

Blog’s Fifth Anniversary !

Dear friends,

It has really been a long time since I interacted with all of you due to my busy schedule of  parallel assignments and work. Yet the quill never stopped and the ink flows incessantly churning out the deep thoughts, embracing with love and weaving them in form of new verses everytime.

WordPress announced today that the’ Blog turns 5′.  So its my blog’s anniversary ! This journey has been possible due to all the lovely blogger friends out here, who have stood with me since years.DSCF4103Each one of you have been equally important in my journey of blogging. This is my first blog and hence holds a special place in my heart.

Thanks to all of you – readers, bloggers and friends. Let me share a poem about birth on this occasion.

Who art thou?

The one who breathes in a cuddle of warm embrace
Tucking memories of every birth in tiny fingers
Whence thou arrive
from which land…?
From the soil of Beethoven or originated from the Rumi’s dervish dance
Had thou runneth beside the Ganga
or thou the leaf from the Bodhisatva
art thou the whiteness of Himalayas
or the pearl of a divine heart?
O! soul! Where art thou from?
While the soft lotus feet curl like petals
Will thou proclaim thy arrival?
O! Little one !
Welcome abode in the depths of our heart…

Thanks and best wishes
