Allow me to paint thou
thus in my colour
Every stroke a gentle one
With a dab of aureate emblazoned
Where then left thee in the dusk of life
towards an unknown goal
the walk of this journey
We flames of divine
born as two souls
at distant miles
in the lone fire of love.
It has been long since I shared a word with you directly and somehow have been posting less poems than earlier, all because of busy schedules, other involvements and my new venture.
Yes, learning and evolving keeps us vibrant and lively. My new venture is a project I was working on produced by my newly established company “AUDUMBAR ARTS” which would deal with production of music videos, albums, short films and also organize art, music and poetry festivals in future.
As of now, the first video,a Punjabi Sufi fusion “Jogi De Naal” has been released today on Eid by Audumbar Arts in association with Zee Music Company.
This is a stepping stone for me and the newly born company.
Iam sharing the YouTube link with all of you here and hope you all would love it.
Kindly watch and share if you enjoy the song!
2nd November 2014 was a day of disaster for those innocents who went to witness an event .
Read my guest post about it on Vishal’s blog : http://vishalbheeroo.wordpress.com/2014/11/06/guest-post-soumya-vilekar-read-on/
This is an imaginary excerpt of a real incident.
from the window
of my room trepid,
while barges the first ray of gold
across my site camping
the melody of little thrush
echoing mildly …
hurl I the things next to me
at the thief , unscrupulous ,
forgets who the ethics code
to steal my sleep forever…
hark, the thrush is here
red glimpses amidst the bushes
forget I , my rage
smile at the welcomed ambience.
through the lanes and down the streets
where once stepped thy feet,
I find myself on faltering knees,
behold! the dust just flew
in the gushing wind…
the painted vase still vibrates
from the touch of thine fingers,
handicrafts and carpet
exhume thy scent …
the aromatic fragrances mingle…
near the jeweler, who sold antiques
I see thy bracelet silver,
studded with blue sapphires
carved with my name clear…
the moon shines overhead
directionless I return,
through the sands of time
lookin’ for another clue in the desert.
through the broken pane of thy window,
peeps the silvery streak
glows thine radiance in luminous waves
why doth it then steal
the charm of thy cheeks,
knoweth it not,
thou art mine,
mingles it in thy silken locks,
rusheth out quickly,
hiding behind the grey peaks …
