CHILD OF WORLD’S DESTINY

CHILD OF WORLD”S DESTINY

On streets forlorn
Walks the child, destitute
The infant of world’s destiny…

 In rags torn
hungry and homeless
roaming through lanes
for a morsel!

The rulers sit on a lavish throne
speak high volumes of chore
actions fail to achieve
war and blasts kill
the child of world’s destiny
lives as a requiem…

    Oh! My country folks!
Can’t you see the pain of the homeless and starving child?
O! Mighty ruler! It doesn’t pain you sitting on the thrones graced by despots?
    Have you no shame.

Soumya! I can visualize the scene in front of me and with ur permission, Ill pen the poem in ma comment as inspired by you:)
