Dancing on the floating skies,

the silver moon  pressed its lips and smiled,

hiding behind the darkness.

peeping from…behind the stillness…

majestically it ruled the

night extremely silent….

Beyond the splendid imagination

of brilliant minds

Magnificently shimmered its

half resplendent figure…

Association with lovers

since ages it bedecked,

connecting two souls

on farthest corners

with its  gorgeous glimpse…

Through mute words of romance

it spoke

imparting passion

graciously moving

with elan

for the yearning lovers!

What jumped out at me are your lines, and I quote,

    “Beyond the splendid imagination

    of brilliant minds

    Magnificently shimmered its

    half resplendent figure…”

Does imagination have to do with brilliant minds? What part does the brilliance of our minds play as we imagine?

Thanks Shakti for quoting and referrring the lines. Yes when it comes to imagination, the so called brilliant minds claim to know the logic and the reasoning, for which they believe they have the right power and perfect way of imagination, whereas the truth is imagination is the power of mind in creating a different world of its own, irrespective of its existence or logic… And hence I wrote “Beyond the splendid imagination

of brilliant minds” ,coz such beauty is often away from such minds,to feel the things, minds have to be kept away.

I really liked how you put such a romantic spin on the moon. There are many legends about the sun and the moon which are romantic. I like that idea. Lovely writing, Soumyav! 🙂 Thanks for contributing this week to Picture it & write.
