You’re a rare fruit to pluck from the garden of Eden,
saturated with nectarous drink,
lustrous and shining as if
burnished by the touch of cupid!
On the cumbersome branch as you swayed,
apple of the exotic garden ,
attracted and appealed,
eyes of this Adam’s forage!
Fall in the cup of my palms,
feel thy touch of my warmth,
before I sense and taste your essence,
disseminate your love in abundance.

Aah! And then from rare becomes a forbidden fruit! 🙂 lovely lines, Soumya.
🙂 I was just waiting for someone to come and comment on it ,coz didn’t knew what had been the outcome of these lines.
I liked it.. Starting from the perspective of an apple and then the focus moving to Adam’s keen interest in it… It flowed really well.

Before I sense and taste your presence. The forbidden fruit is always the most desirous…

Rare fruit! I don’t think it is a ‘forbidden fruit’; even if it is, it carries much of a taste feeling wise.
