She won’t R.I.P untill their conscience is ripped apart!

She was 23. She dies with a pain in her soul. Fighting continously for her life since the last fortnight the gangrape victim who was brutally assaulted and thrown out of moving bus ,who suffered multiple organ failure other than the mental trauma and the physical ones, expired this morning.

She won’t rest in peace untill the conscience of each one of us is ripped apart. Crimes have happened ,sins too ,but never before was  such an outcry seen on the streets of Delhi, the heart of India. The vociferation was loud ,unanimous and active emerging straight from the veins of the body, the chords of the heart. For every heinous offense had been silently dead in the grave ,this one aggravated as the victim faced and fought bravely with her life and society to bring to the light the deathly sinful act.

Who is to be blamed is a debatable topic! the society, the people, the upbringing, mental conditions, abused past, psychological cases, insecurity, over indulgence…whatever, anything doesn’t  give the license to rape any girl ! No amount of excuse or situation justifies such an act!

Long before we realize that such circumstances and instances end up our system, our society and the trust for humans itself, its high time to voice the anger and the fury in every possible way to obtain and regain the free and secured life that we have the right for in our own country.

What shocks more is the politics of the Indian system that abstains every politician from expressing and thinking about such a grave situation and which in due course has killed their conscience. The persons we elect or elected, whoever represents the larger sections of our society in the centre or outside India are afraid, ashamed, hesitating or refraining from expressing their feelings? Or they have no anguish about what happened?

What a waste of our valuable votes and faith that we laid in their hands to run our government whether in power or in opposition? Do we need to guide them or tell the diplomats who handle the international affairs how and what to do to tackle such a situation?

Rather than taking diplomatic steps and stating hypocritical comments ,they need to show some sense of responsibility and leadership values due to which presumably we have accepted them as our leaders.

A kingdom is doomed to end ,when the king and his government are no longer able to safeguard his subjects from the atrocious crimes and when nothing is done to prevent or stop such attacks.

Before the girl ,whom we all proudly want to proclaim as  India’s daughter becomes Kannagi of Madurai! who had cursed the once beautiful city to turn down to ashes due to wrong judgement which had cost her beloved’s life, its time to give her soul justice and the respect that she deserved.

Wake up ! the dead souls of India! Wake up the leaders ,

Where do you strangle and hide ?

In such a grievous inscribe?

Show us your presence ,

Reassure we aren’t wrong,

Guide the nation on a path,

where we wont be ashamed of what and who we are?

It’s evident that this nation will not harm those animals destroying the decorum of the very nation!
Everybody appeals for them to be sentenced to nothing but death, but we have not heard of anything yet! This way they will let pass of this turbulence till everyone is silent!

Good work of your words! 🙂

Death will be a very easy punishment for them! BUt also What is needed is a change of mentality of people and such can happen by awareness and also by protecting the innocents and punishing the offenders.Nothing should be let loose and easily left away. such can happen only with public support and awareness.

    • soumyav December 29, 2012 / 7:33 pm

Even in France I heard about this unfortunate aggression. Insecurity is everywhere, not just you. Only here, we talk, we imprison. This writing is very well done.

    • soumyav December 29, 2012 / 8:04 pm

Thank you Gys for being here and supporting the issue ! I know the insecurity is everywhere ,somewhere too sensitive somewhere still lying under the covers.

May her soul RIP and may GOD bestow His mercy on her family …
i was following the story since about two weeks and I posted about it on my FB timeline …. I wanted to ask you >> did she really committed suicide? because some policemen were pressing her not to register an official complain!

    • soumyav December 29, 2012 / 8:07 pm

NO Amany she didnt commit suicide, instead she fought continously since the last fortnight ! but succumbed to multiple organ failure and also the swollen of brain due to which she had cardiac arrest! She had been brutally beaten up too with a iron rod presumably before she was thrown out of the bus. her intestines had been removed. somehow the govt and security officials had remain tightlipped about the issue for so long!

      • elamany December 29, 2012 / 10:57 pm

Then I should declare this on my FB … some news agencies said that she committed suicide with pills. what a petty (even after she passed) .. sorry for her … and my condolences to you and all there .. as regard the gov; they only act when they (all eastern gov) feel and see the anger of their people.
thank you for updating Soumya… and dont be sad she is there in paradise now. RIP.

thanks for your support for the cause and the concern. It shows a woman is always a woman anywhere she is! there was another incident of ganagrape in patiala ,punjab, where the girl comitted suicide last week.the official news must be confusing wth this incident.

          • elamany December 29, 2012 / 11:07 pm

AH … so that was another incident (17y) old girl … yes it was in patiala … I will correct this … thank you for this information.

          • elamany December 29, 2012 / 11:09 pm

and yes what touches a woman there will touch all women everywhere and what is unhuman anywhere is unhuman wherever is any human.

Your presence speaks all for the cause Rahul!

      • Insight December 30, 2012 / 7:54 am

Not only me! The whole nation is showing their humanly responses to a fellow being, who was a GIRL lived in our nation. We all have the right to take action against those murderers (I’m ashamed to spell them as Indians) who raped an innocent being who has a number of sturdy dreams in her well determined mind. Let’s wait for the great comeback for a peaceful nation. *PRAYERS*

its quite weird, this sudden generosity of indian government when delhi was boiling and then her demise (something that flashed my mind the minute i read about her boarding the plane to singapore).

may her soul rest in peace! i was one of them who were praying that she recovers fully. hope the women of Delhi wrench out their well deserved security in that city of nightmares.

    • soumyav December 29, 2012 / 8:12 pm

Ya its weird and probably to avoid the outburst and anger of the masses she was flown to Singapore. coz in a state of cardiac arrest and with minimal chances of change in situation, there was no other reason to do so. The govt just wanted things to get cooler . but everytime this cant happen and issue cannot be left like stranded. Its about the change we all need in the society whether in Delhi or anywhere in India. We all know every girl has somehow in any time of her life passed through such abuses .We were lucky not to get clasped into such a situation, but everytime such things cant happen. And for this the society too should change their thinking and mentality

It is horrible. Such a cruelty is difficult to be understood or explained. There’ re no reasons that could be found for such a crime, no excuses, nothing. Indifference, complete lack of empathy and inability to see/care further than one’s nose has become a rather common trait.

    • soumyav December 29, 2012 / 11:40 pm

very true ! no explanation, reasoning is valid for such an act!

  8. Pawan Hira December 30, 2012 / 10:42 pm

she has to live, and as a lesson we have to remember her life. There should be justice for her, and awareness for the society. If still we are not awake, then we are a sorry lot of humanity.

    • soumyav December 30, 2012 / 11:34 pm

very true Pawan! And there are in loss of words whatever we say is less for what needs to be done! Thanks for being here!

  9. akhandsi December 30, 2012 / 11:16 pm

Nothing can hurt you more than this, knowing that the height of desperation is so much that people can do this kind of heinous act, they can be worst than animals.

The society where you live and you live with you family, your friends, your sisters and your mothers, the society where you should always respect the women seems like a myth right now.

I am ashamed of being a guy right now. In a very simple words “if you can’t respect a women, you ain’t a man no more”.

    • soumyav December 30, 2012 / 11:36 pm

The aggression and the emotional turbulence can be seen in words and heart of each one of us,even though she was unknown to us,she has left an impression marked and etched! a question mark forever will this ever change and become as we want and wish to be ? Thanks for joining in!

  10. shivprasad January 1, 2013 / 1:55 pm

It’s horrible, terrifying.. in fact we have lost an important soul who had a brave heart.

  11. Manu Kurup January 8, 2013 / 10:51 am

This most barbaric act startes at all of us… we will not be able to forget it for as long as we live.
    Powerful words, SOUMYA/.

    • soumyav January 8, 2013 / 10:56 am

Yes Manu! it has trembled every soul of this country,Hope and wish other people having such barbaric mentality do have a conscience and think of the outcomes and results of this
