A DIAMOND

Buried under the earth’s gravel,
under extreme pressures ,
temperature higher than the normal,
black lumps of ore untouched…
Excavating ,mining the strata ,
going deep within the core and mantle,
cleaning aside several materials as efface,
sparkles black shiny lustered dust…
Digging further  till fagging,
as the temperature rises above,
shining glittering stones appear ,
layers of  dust covered…
pieces of the uncut ,unpolished gems lying underneath,
effulgent are those,
radiating fragmented light…
 like  prismatic soul…
Years of tenacious conditions,
of persistently being a coal,
age transforms it to a diamond,
the world subsequently values it more…
